Natural Easter Egg Dye Recipes

Here at Simple Native, we love finding ways to do things the natural way. So we had so much fun dying eggs with spices, fruits and vegetables! We don't need the fake dyes when nature has so many beautiful colors to offer!

With any of these colors, you can leave the eggs in as long as you'd like depending on how vibrant you want the colors to be.

First things first, hard boil your eggs.

For Pink:

1/2 C beet juice

1 C water

1 Tbsp. of white vinegar

Golden Yellow:

1 C water

2 T turmeric

2 T white vinegar

Bring water and turmeric to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes and then add vinegar.

Orange:

2 chopped carrots

1 C water

2 T paprika

2 T white vinegar

Bring water, carrots and paprika to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Strain and add the vinegar.

Blue:

1/2 pound frozen blueberries

1 C water

2 T white vinegar

Bring water and blueberries to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes and then add vinegar.
